Jim Cooper Construction Company, Inc. is a licensed general contractor (Unlimited) specializing in warehouse / distribution, industrial, and commercial projects. 

Cooper Construction was started in 1991 by Jim Cooper. Jim graduated from Auburn University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

Cooper Construction’s largest project was the construction of a $21,000,000.00, 518,000 sq. ft. Service Parts Central Warehouse in Vance, Alabama for MBUSI (Mercedes-Benz).  We also constructed the main sequencing facilities for Honda of Alabama (New South Express). This included Phase I - 208,000 sq. ft., Phase II - 213,000 sq. ft. and Phase III - 100,000 sq. ft.

Over the last ten years we have completed 26 warehouse / distribution facilities in the Southeast, including projects in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia totaling over 5 million square feet. These projects ranged in size from 43,000 to 575,000 square feet.

Federal Express, AOL Time Warner, Honda of Alabama, D&K Pharmaceuticals, EMJ Steel, Nucor Steel, Rain Bird Irrigation, Hilti Fastners, Chatham Steel, Cinram Corporation, Ashley Furniture, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Mercedes Benz are some of the owners / tenants we have worked with.
